I sold 2 more items this last Sunday. Both were comic items that were previously listed last week. They only recieved 1 bid each so the buyers both received good deals. Neither has paid yet so we will see. I lost money on the auction that sold for a penny. Yes, a penny! But it will average out with the item that sold for $9.99. The most important thing for me right now is getting rid of my inventory. I just have way too many comic books. Most are in storage.

This weekend I also priced computers as usual. I saw laptops as low as $339 at circuit city after rebates. That is an excellent price. Then I saw desktops for as low as $259 after rebates at staples. It seems like prices will continue to plummet as technology just continues to evolve. Just like phones, maybe one day they will give away free computers if you sign up for internet service through them. I am seriously thinking about getting a new desktop. It has been over 2 years since I purchased one. I am seriously trying to weigh the pros and cons.

My current desktop was slower than I can remember in a long time. I reformatted the hard drive last weekend and used a restore disk to reinstall the factory settings. I was very pleased after. It had become extremely fast from when I originally purchased it. I don’t use any heavy memory applications; just basic surfing, daily blogging, watching and making DVDs, and the excel spreadsheets.

The minus side for purchasing a new computer is my current computer works with no problems now and is back up to speed. The current computer actually meets all my computing needs. Also, I would be spending about $300 after taxes for something I don’t need. I usually sell my computers before I buy a new one, but with prices being so low for new computers I don’t know if I could find a buyer. The plus side for buying a new computer is the one actually burns images on the DVDs I create, has a bigger hard drive and runs on vista instead of xp. As of right now, the minus is beating out the plus side. sighhh.

Lastly, Bernard Hopkins won a decision against Winky Wright over the weekend. I saw some pictures but haven’t seen the actual fight. I am looking forward to watching the free replay and give you my opinion then. Hopkins said he wants to fight WBO super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe. I think that would actually be a great matchup in styles: brawler vs boxer.
