You know Sundays are just nice and relaxing. I love it because it gives me a chance to just catch up on everything. Sometimes I am productive and do chores around the house. Most times I just love to relax. Today, I went and visited my Mom. It’s always nice to visit someone who appreciates your company. I also visited my brother. As predicted, he fixed my computer. I guess I won’t be getting a new system. At least not yet. My DVD drive went out and so I just picked one up at Walmart. Good as new. My brother the humble tech guru delivers again.
Sunday is a great day to find deals on EBay. I didn’t get a chance to put any auctions up. My previous Sundays auctions only 1 guy paid me and the other got the boot from EBay. Too many non paying bids. I will probably put some auctions up on Tuesday and make it for 5 days or put them up on Thursday and make it for 10 days. I always try to end them on Sundays and then ship them out Mondays.

I watched some free MMA on Showtime. They have a new show similar to shobox except it is MMA called shoXC combat. It was about 2 hours and 15 minutes but with the DVR I fast forwarded just to watch the fights and finished it just over an hour. There were 10 scheduled fights but only showed 4 of them. They were all up and coming fighters. I only recognized one fighter and he wound up knocking his opponent out. These DVRs are amazing. They are kind of like tapeless VCRS on steriods.

I did get a movie in today also. My wife and I watched the new version of the Omen. It was just OK. I actually liked the original version better that I had watched when I was a kid. I remember it being scary back then. I am sure it won’t be as good now and may even seem dated if I were to watch it again. The Excorcist remake was very good. I would recommend that if you like scary supernatural type of movies. We also watched a movie called Dreamland. Even though it was interesting I would have to say you should enjoy your popcorn on a different movie.

There was also a pretty good boxing match that I missed on HBO’s boxing after dark. It was Vernon Forrest making a comeback against Carlos Baldomir. Hopefully, I will be able to catch a repeat. If not I am sure someone who loves boxing will post it on youtube.
