Age of Love to Flipping Out

There is one more episode of Age of Love. It is down to 2 ladies. Amanda (25) and Jen (48) who both are trying to win Mark’s 30 year old heart. The show isn’t as exciting as the Bachelor but I think that is just because the main guy who is a tennis celebrity isn’t very lively. He seems to have a good personality but is not a very exciting person to watch. I think he likes Amanda more physically but my guess is he will pick Jen. We will see next week.

Another TV show I like to watch is flip this house. They have the shows on TLC and A&E. You know the show where people buy houses and rehab or remodel them, then sell them for a profit. I think you can learn a lot from these shows, mostly what not to do. I have seen many reruns and I think the real estate market boom helped alot of them escape with a profit instead of a loss. Most of the work they have done are usually poor quality. I know I wouldn’t want to live in most of them.

They have a new version of the show with a professional flipper on Bravo called Flipping Out. The flipper has OCD and is a meticulous perfectionist with a team of assistants. The assistants are not really apprentices, they are more or less just gophers.

The show is really entertaining because of his annoying personality and because of the activities he partakes in. He has a spiritual healer and a psychic adviser. He does house blessings and prayers before he sells a house and consults his psychic before he buys one. He is getting on his staff’s nerves and is actually funny to watch their reactions. It would be funny to have a boss like him.

The amazing thing is he seems to be successful. According to him, he has flipped about 40 houses. All of them I believe in California. Most of them are high end properties usually above the million dollar range. They have shown his past projects and they all seem pretty good. He does spend the money to make quality improvements. Based on the pilot show that televised, I think I will be adding it to my DVR queue.

Well, I really don’t wanna say something about the show “Flipping Out” but the only reason I’m watching it is because of “Tori” the psychic. She’s awesome! She’s the only interesting character on the show.

Hi George, thanks for the comment. Well, I think everyone is a character on the show and fun to watch. I guess all the drama that goes on makes it interesting. Jeff seems to need Tori definitely for support and guidance. I just watched the second show where the cat Monkey gets acupuncture. I don’t think the cat liked it.
