A Lil Sumptin Sumptin charity auctions ended today and judging by the number of bids I think it was a success and many animals and families will benefit through the Humane Society and Heifer International.

I saw some good prices today on computers. At bestbuy they have a $379 laptop computer, but I am sure they are sold out. They just have good ad circulars that get people in the door. I think a better deal is the complete desktop with a monitor for only $329 with no rebates. The only thing I don’t like about this is the 17 inch monitor is the old big clunky box type and that takes up a lot of space. I haven’t seen prices of computers consistently this low a regular basis. Every week it seems like the average price is dropping. Who knows, maybe by Christmas time the prices will be $100 for a new laptop or desktop. Sweet!

I picked up my computer that my brother fixed. Of course, it works like a champ. So, I will be holding off on my future computer purchase probably until Christmas or the new year. By then the computers chip prices will have fallen so the ones for clearance at that time will be considerably faster.

I was able to put some Ebay comic book auctions up. It is hard to get them up consistently every week. I think once I get a good volume of sales up again, I will get more into it. If I can sell 5 items at auction per week, that will be more than enough momentum to help me become more successful. I must say, I am tempted to start buying again on EBay but have been good so far.
