I heard this fight is going to happen. I think both fighters are way past their primes and this will be a fight to help them showcase a good comeback. I like Roy Jones Jr, but after those 2 knockouts he endured, I thought if might be time for him to hang up his gloves. It is tough to see one of your favorite fighters get knocked out cold and almost look like he died. He has put a string of good fights since that loss but really nothing impressive. Felix Trinidad is also coming off a bad streak. Ever since Bernard Hopkins schooled him then later Winky Wright, he seems to have lost his skills.

This fight should generate some interests because I think both fighters have a good fan base. Whoever wins this fight, I don’t think it will prove much. I am not sure if they can beat the new and upcoming fighters. I thought RJJ was going to fight till he was 45 until he got knocked out cold. Maybe he should of fought Mike Tyson before Lennox Lewis knocked him out. I will pick RJJ by decision over Trinidad. If RJJ can KO Trinidad, then that may give RJJ a big boost in his confidence which is what he really needs to get back to that highest level of fighting he once was at.

The boxing fight I am looking forward to is the Pacquiao vs Barrera. I would have originally thought Pacman by ko, but with the drama going on in his personal life, I think Barrera might be able to beat him. Just my thoughts on it. I personally like Pacquiao but you never know what Barrera will bring to the fight. He is very good and maybe even underrated for this rematch. Remember when he dismantled Prince Naseem. In my opinnion, Barrera when he is on his game can do this to any fighter in this weight class.

In MMA, I am looking forward to the free UFC coming up. They have alot of good fights on that event. That one is on 09/08/2007 9pm on Spike TV and will showcase Quinton Rampage Jackson vs Dan Dangerous Henderson. I am going to pick Henderson to win this one. I think Rampage will be stronger but Henderson will bring more skills. MMA never makes sense, but Henderson did knock out Wanderlei the Axe Murderer Silva who ko’d Rampage twice in Pride FC convincingly. Those were very good fights.
