Before the United States invaded Iraq, both my wife and I knew there were no weapons of mass destruction. We knew they were political lies and manipulations by the White House. I remember telling people that this was not a good idea and just plain wrong. I was in the minority because everyone’s emotions were all misplaced from the anger and sadness caused from the 9/11 tragedy. It didn’t make sense before we went to war and it still doesn’t make sense now.

The logic that was placed back then was you were condemned as being unpatriotic if you didn’t support the war then you didn’t support the troops. There were and still are a lot of stupid people thinking that now. I support the troops and Do not support this war. I think like many people do now, it is way past time to bring them home.
