I heard that Kevin Randleman has been arrested on a DUI in Nevada. He had a lot potential and has even fought top contenders. He even slammed both Crocop and Fedor at the Pride FC events.

Brandon Vera is coming back to the UFC division and is rumored to be fighting Tim Sylvia. That should be an exciting fight. Vera wasn’t fighting because of UFC contract disputes. The Couture vs Gonzaga fight is getting closer and I think that will be a good match. I am predicting the new young guy Gonzaga to submit or knock out Couture. If Gonzaga wins, then there are a lot of exciting fights UFC can put on including Tim Sylvia, Andre Arlowski, Minotauro” Nogueira, Fabricio Werdum, Cheick Kongo or a Crocop rematch. On a side note, I wasn’t aware he has Filipino roots. He may become my favorite MMA fighter.

Another exciting match scheduled to take place is Josh Koscheck against George St. Pierre. I don’t know if Koscheck is at the level of St Pierre or Matt Hughes, but he will have his chance to prove it. He easily beat Diego Sanchez in his last fight, but I don’t know if Sanchez is at the highest level in the fighting world.
Showtime is having another free show. Showtime’s EliteXC Challenger Series returns to the airwaves on Aug. 25 live (11 p.m. ET/PT) from the Vicksburg Convention Center near Jackson, Miss. You might want to set it up on your DVR. It is free, but the only fighter’s name I recognize is Charles Krazy Horse Bennett. He usually has exciting fights. He knocked out his last opponent. Bennett is like a mini Mike Tyson in MMA.
I haven’t heard anything about Frank Shamrock and who he is fighting next. He usually has good fights too. He actually has fought Dan Henderson a long time ago in a wrestling match. Henderson will be fighting Rampage soon. Shamrock recently choked out Phil Baroni in an MMA match. I posted a video earlier on my blog of that awesome fight. This match of Shamrock vs Henderson is actually amazing too.
