Iraq for Sale– the war profiteers

I just watched this documentary and realized why the war costs so much. Whenever we hear President Bush asking for more funding for the war for billions and billions of dollars, you wonder where the money goes to. The military is still complaining of not having basic supplies. Those 2 things contradict each other. The government keeps spending literally a billion dollars everyday to maintain this war, but we can’t help maintain and supply the military. Where is the money going to?! Well, this movie answers that question. The disconnect is the middleman. 40 cents of every dollar spent on the military budget is allocated to the defense contractors. They legally steal the money and is not spent on our military but pocketed by them. We have reports about the blatant over billing on national TV, current and former employees of these defense contractors whistleblowing about the corruptness and outright stealing of our American tax dollars, and Congress trying to put measures to stop the abuse but getting shut down by lobbyists fired by the defense contractors. These defense contractors should be charged for treason and fraud! They definitely want to perpetuate this war to continue to make dollars at the cost of innocent lives of both civilians and military alike. It doesn’t matter if you are a republican, democrat or independent, we are all Americans and should not sacrifice innocent people’s lives for money. Watch this video and ask yourself why are we still in Iraq?!
