Puppies, mma and stock market update 8-24-2007 1:00pm

I felt like posting some of my puppy and kitty videos from earlier. I found these on youtube, and everytime I watch them they make me smile. I hope they do the same for you.

This weekend has a great mixed martial arts event. It is the UFC 74 ppv and includes Randy Couture vs Gabriela Gonzaga, Georges St Pierre vs Josh Koscheck and some very good undercard fights that may or may not be shown depending on how long the fights take. I never watch these live and usually a friend will DVR the event for me to watch at a later time. I always know the result before I watch them and enjoy them just the same. Both these main events are very promising. I will have to pick Gonzaga and St. Pierre to win. I wouldn’t bet on it, but those are my picks. If you don’t know who these fighters are, and are interested in learning and watching them, check out Spike TV because they will be showcasing their fights all weekend long. Also, you can go to youtube where many fights are posted. If you peruse my blog, just click on the tag MMA above this post and it will take you to all my MMA posts. I have a few videos I embedded on my site and hopefully they are all still functional links.

The stock market is having a great today. Hopefully it closes that way and that there is no sell off. I think a lot of the negative news on the housing market and credit crunch are already factored into the market psychology but we will see next week when we start fresh again. Overall, the stock markets this week was on an uptrend and I am crossing my fingers my prediction for a 15,000 Dow by the end of the year is true.

Wow,now that is a mixed bag of content. That’s okay as long as you are getting it posted. Now, my prediction is Randy and George St. Pierre winning their fights. I don’t like Josh (too cocky). Randy Couture will have his hands full. Cool site by the way but it’s kind of busy, makes me dizzy!

Hi Andrew, I am over anxious and just love to write. I like both Randy and Georges and hope they both win. After what that Gonzaga did to Crocop, I just think he will be too strong for Randy. Randy is definitely an underdog in my eyes. If he wins, he really is Captain America. =)
