Should the US pull the troops out of Iraq?

Posted on Sep 2, 2007 by CHESSNOID in Uncategorized | 3 Comments

The United States has been waging a war on terror in Iraq based on mis-information based on the missing (imaginary) weapons of mass destruction and all that stuff. The United States invaded Iraq and have occupied that country looking for terrorists since 2003. Many documentaries have been made. I posted one here called Iraq for Sale by Robert Greenwald. This is truly a must see movie and will open up your eyes. Watch it below and comment what you think.

Now, if you are American (regardless if you’re Democrat, Republican or Independent) do you feel it is time to pull our troops out? It has been 4 years and Saddam has been ousted and executed. We have military casualties every single day from suicide bombers, which may or may not be terrorists we are looking for. I say that because they could be just Iraqi citizens living in bad times and just hate Americans for simply being there. I believe we should have never invaded and now I believe the US should pull the troops out because it is too expensive and their is no real goal other than to have private US companies make money at the expense of the taxpayers. If you don’t know what I am talking about, you should watch Iraq for Sale and become informed to have a better vantage point.

I would really like is to get comments from everyone throughout the world and see what your views are about my country occupying another country or anything about the invasion or occupation. You may post anonymously by just putting in the name of your country in the name spot and you do not have to put your website in the blank. Your emails will be private .

I have no problem with people knowing my opinion, having voted for the jackass that has killed so many of our young in this country, I think it’s high time our Senators and House members realize there will be no progress and only more casualties. It’s ridiculous to support a country who refuses to support themselves. Being a nation founded on “Christian” beliefs it astounds me that they’ve forgotten that, “God helps those who help themselves…” and since we(US) are not God and they are NOT helping themselves it’s time to get the HELL out of that HELLHOLE that is claiming more and more lives daily.

That blackhawk helicopter that went down last week, there was a young man on that ‘copter who had already lost one brother in the war, and the helicopter behind the one that went down held one of his other brothers. Now this poor boys’ family is without two sons, one of which watched another die. What more does this country need to sacrifice? Blood - check, Money - check, What’s Left?

I hate to even say it but: I knew when we went in that this is what would happen - we’d be bogged down in something like Vietnam. At the start of the Iraq invasion I happened to be living in Germany. Now, the Germans really like Americans and look up to us and our political leadership in the world, but every German I met agreed with me that Bush was a raging idiot and that this invasion was NOT called for at all.

Hi Sabrina, I agree with you that we just need to leave. There is nothing left there for us.

He Derami, I also knew this was going to happen before we invaded. Whenever I used to voice my opinion back then that it was wrong for us to invade, my family and friends would get mad and say I was wrong and unpatriotic.

Thank you both for the comments. I was hoping for people from other countries to voice their opinion. They would have provided an interesting point of view.
