Celebrity scandals Shaquille O’Neal, Vanessa Minnillo + Vanessa Hudgens
I have begun re-tagging my old posts. I have done the first half of July. Reading them over, I realized they were pretty short and needed more development. I think I have come along way as far as content and idea development. Some topics of late, have me posting on things that I wouldn’t have guessed. One of the things I don’t think I have mentioned is I like to watch TV and read blogs about celebrity gossip. I know you do to. It isn’t just TV shows like Entertainment tonight and Access Hollywood, but just regular TV news that show celebrity clips. We may all say I don’t care, but we still all want to know. Remember when Paris Hilton went to jail, we were over-saturated with her appearances. Remember, when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez was still a couple. The Bennifer or B-LO. Yikes! That was just way too much exposure. I knew they weren’t going to last either. I think that whole relationship was a farce just for exposure.
Now, we have some recent shockers. Shaquille O’Neal is getting a divorce. I have looked for details but really couldn’t find any. He seems like a nice guy but so did Kobe before his rape accusation. I wouldn’t have thought he was a CHEATER but then again I was being naive. I am guessing Shaq is no better than Kobe when it comes to being a player. And I’m not talking about basketball. Girls, fans, groupies, stalkers must always want to hook up with all the NBA players. So much constant temptation on a daily basis, they eventually give in. I am not sure it isn’t like that for all of them, but don’t be surprised if your favorite athlete is caught cheating on his wife. That doesn’t make it right but at least it gives you his point of view of why he became a dog! Woof woof. It is possible Shaq’s wife was cheating but she has like 5 or 6 kids. Also, the guy considering hooking up with her must realize that a 7 foot 300 pound NBA man has fists that are probably as big as his head might give him pause. Give it some time and I am sure the media will get the whole story out there.
Now, about this Vanessa Hudgens the Disney singer who has nude photos being leaked on the internet… So what! I think it is sad but more common nowadays for this stuff to happen. I really don’t think it is a big deal. You can buy playboy or just do any old internet search and find topless or nude girls. The scandal here is she is a singer for Disney’s High School musical. I didn’t know who she was before. She definitely got more exposure or publicity, but she isn’t the first. Vanessa Williams, Madonna, and a whole bunch more celebrities who are still around and successful did the same thing many years ago. I found a blog on MBL called “Just a girl in short shorts talking about whatever” who posted on this whole Vanessa Hudgens thing. I agree with what she says and if you are looking for the pictures, she has them posted.
Remember, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo had nude photos of them vacationing in Mexico. Of course, everyone wanted to see them. Really not a big deal. I guess we all just want to see stars mess up or see them exposed in some type of scandal. I even wonder if some of these celebrities do it on purpose just to get free publicity. Remember all those Pamela Anderson sex tapes. Then all those Paris Hilton sex tapes. You think OK maybe one, but 2 or 3 or a whole library. Hmmmmm. Please comment and tell me what you think.

Everybody loves a story, especially if it’s not about themselves, and even more if it’s something bad about someone else. Minds love to stray and gossip is the easiest to do so.
S’for sportsmen straying – not surprising considering they have fans (of both sexes) throwing themselves at them. The temptation is great and many of them are given to find the easiest way to pleasure – like drugs, sex and all. While there are definitely many professional sportsmen who do live cleanly, but just as many have strayed and being a sports fan for ages, nothing really surprises me anymore.

I agree with you. I am guilty of reading and following tabloid celebrity stories. I just felt bad for this last one just because she is 18 years old.
As for the athletes, news media only likes to report the messy stories. I remember for weeks they kept running the Kobe story over and over, even though there was nothing new to report.
Nothing surprises me anymore with celebs.
But for me and I don’t know why – I wish Britney would get her sh*t together.

Ellen, I think it’s what’s happening now to her and her antics that’s still keeping her ‘career’ alive, I doubt Britney’s gonnna try changing any of that soon.
