Today is our wedding anniversary. I am grateful beyond measure that I found my soulmate early in my life. She is my slice of heaven and the great love of my life.
There are definitely many books and guides explaining what you need to do to have a successful relationship. I believe the key ingredient in my marriage is communication. My wife and I talk about everything and anything. Of course we have the same interests, humor, likes and dislikes, etc. But without being able to express our feelings openly to each other, our relationship wouldn’t be as strong as it is now. We have been married for about 20 years and I have enjoyed every single day with her.
We have only been physically apart maybe 2 days in our entire relationship. I missed her deeply those 2 days. She had to help her mom and I couldn’t go with her at the time. We played several games of euchre online to be with each other. We make a great team and are often accused of cheating because I make crazy calls. I know how to lead the cards out even without the bowers. This is the one time I had great use of my finance college degree.
Life is excellent.

Hi Footiam, feel free to post it.
I like the cute bunnies you have there too.
You’re blessed Chessnoid. I’m always happy to hear of harmony in someone’s relationship life. So many people are complaining, this is a refreshing post. Maybe the lovelorn will stop by and find that they can ‘Keep Hope Alive!’

Hi Shelia,

Thanks for your support. I don’t why I am so lucky but I am truly grateful.
Cheers!
I love your blog layout and graphics! Congrats on being happily married and open enough to express it! Nice to hear someone declare his or her love for a spouse when so much of the world is running around in circles looking for the excitement of new relationships instead of nuturing those they already have! I agree: communication is the key!
Hi Lynda,

Thank you very much. That is great insight you have on relationships.
My wife set up my blog for me. She picked the template out and tried to pick a style that matched my personality. She has superb taste.
Cheers!
