Hi Sharon,
I agree Ask.com is no where near google right now. However, based on all the blogs giving google bad publicity--in this case viral bad publicity--ask.com can make some moves to gain some users. Yahoo, MSN, or any other company might buy them out just to capture the market. Yahoo and MSN could merge.
In general, most companies who don't take care of their customers usually don't stay in business. Google went big after it went public and sold stock. The reason why the stock has grown by 600 percent is because of its users. Unhappy users will go to other companies who will cater to their needs. I have no issues going back to yahoo or excite or even trying out ask.com for my searches if google made me unhappy. I am not directly affected by their new rules because I am a small blog and do not blog for monetary purposes, but I would be willing to boycott them to support my fellow bloggers. I still love google. Cheers!

Hi YC,
I have a list of sites I like to read about MMA. They are:
http://www.mmaweekly.com/
http://www.sherdog.com/
http://sports.espn.go.com/extra/mma/index
http://www.mmatko.com/
http://www.thefightnetwork.com/
There are a couple of sites that post the videos you can't find on youtube of some mma fights as well. Let me know if you are interested in those too.
Cheers!

Chessnoid, I still think that Ask.com has a long way to go to catch up with Google.com. It's interesting really to check out what each of these search engines deem as the highest rated links. At one time there was this website where you can go to and it compares in a graph form which pages are indexed first by which search engine. It's always good to know.

<em>Sharon's last blog post..</em><a href='http://www.thedivanetwork.com/2007/10/mondera-new-coupons-fine-jewelry.html' rel="nofollow">Mondera New Coupons - Fine Jewelry</a>

Hey Chessnoid, thanks again for the mention - I appreciate it. It is still something I am thinking a lot about.

About UFC and related stuff, do you have an authority site that you visit often?

Hi Sydney,
I think having feed numbers of 50 is great. Especially if they are not bouncing around anymore. I think your blog is cool.
Nick Diaz is a bad boy fighter and doesn't get good press, but he is good.
The stock market actually rebounded from Sept 18 up till now. That is when the fed gov lowered rates. I cashed out all my stock a month too early, but now I have no more stress of losing money.
Thanks for the comment and please sign up on the rss feed. I appreciate it.
Cheers!

My feed numbers jump around, but they've been staying around 50 since they got up that high. And for such a new blog, I'm proud where I've gotten so far. I don't have much of a Technorati rank at all, but my blog's doing well for a hobby. I'm not that into SEO and all that.

I've never heard of Nick Diaz, so nothing to say on that, but I thought I heard that the stock market was headed downward...guess not.
