The fires aren't under control yet, but there is a chance of rain on the weekend. These fires are so large that it will last a few more days. Over the years growing up there were always fires, but certainly nothing ever like this. I lived in Gardena so we were not in harms way, but always knew someone who'd lost their home. This is so awful. I live in another state now, but I feel like there's something I should be doing. San Diego is my favorite place to be in California. The temperatures here are in the 90s and I am by the coast. There are about 20 fires or so and massive evacuations. San Diego county is being hit the hardest but the have the stadium open for everyone. Those pictures are awful but give a good picture of what it is. Cheers! ;) Hi David,
