Wow, another new month is here. I know people will be cooking turkeys and giving thanks to life on Thanksgiving. What I actually look forward to is Black Friday. That is when retailers throw crazy deals you won’t find all year except the day after Thanksgiving which marks the first day of Christmas shopping.

I get Black Friday emails which is a website that somehow gets the advertisement circulars for that day early. I guess this site has become pretty big, and major retailers have emailed them a Cease and Desist letter advising them and other Black Friday sites not to publish their circulars or they will take legal action against them. Best buy is the one I like to check out and they put the BF site in check along with Macy’s, Walmart, and a few other retailers who want to keep everything a secret.

Walmart is having a trial run on 5 items this Friday or tomorrow and are offering an HD dvd player for $99, an acer laptop for $348, and a samsung 50 inch plasma for $999. These are definitely all great prices and I guess they are trying to get the jump on other retailers because it is expected to be a tight wallet shopping season compared to the last 5 seasons. Anyways, if you want to treat yourself out to a big goodie, it is only a one day sale tomorrow at Walmart. The info is on their site.

On Gadgettastic’s site, he has a review of Asus EEE new laptops or notebooks coming out soon. The Asus Eee PC701 are suppose to be priced at only $199 and have a 7 inch screen, weigh 2 pounds, and have a flash memory drive. This really appeals to me in price and convenience. I currently have a 17 inch laptop but it is heavy and inconvenient to carry around. I hope a 7 inch screen will be OK on the eyes. Anyways, this is what I hope Santa will be putting in my stocking.
