I recently ordered HDNET and have watched at least 5 mma events for free. No PPV fees and there is an awesome choice of fights to watch. They just announced Fedor with M-1 Global will be shown live on New Years Eve along with live IFL fights. Now that is amazing and great cooperation along with excellent co-promotion among the different organizations. They also have an well produced 1 hour show called inside MMA with Bas Rutten joined with 3 different MMA guys every week just talking about MMA. If you like MMA you need to get HDNET.

I just finished watching a repeat of the Mayweather and Hatton fight. I expected Mayweather to win and he did, but I can’t help wonder if the referee made a difference in this fight. IN the first few rounds, he kept trying to break clinches before they even clinched. I am no fan of Hatton but that is the way he fights, and I could tell he was getting frustrated with the interference. Even the announcers Emanuel Steward, Jim Lampley, and Larry Merchant state the obvious that the referee was getting too involved with the clinches. Referee Joe Cortez sucked at his job that night. He was definitely favoring one fighter over the other and stifling Hatton’s fighting style. I thought Mayweather was too good of a fighter, but judging by the early rounds Hatton was better than I expected. I truly believe under a different referee, Hatton would actually beat Mayweather. Mayweather did knock out Hatton but in this case Mayweather actually landed a lucky shot while Hatton walked into his punch. When Hatton was interviewed after the fight and said it was a fluke, I would have to agree with him.
