Everyday I have a routine to read all the top business and finance news at Yahoo, CNN.Money, Reuters and Bloomberg when I first wake up. I try to gauge where our economy is in the business phase. Lately, there has been more negative than positive news. The stock market’s reactions are never consistent to the news which never ceases to amaze me. This year has been very volatile as we have had 1 to 3 % daily moves in all the major markets.

I am working on a couple of projects which has limited my free time. I haven’t been able to stumble as often as I would like.

My stats on this site are back below 100 daily visitors as I have cut back on my daily postings. I even notice my technorati ranking going in reverse. It went from 221 to 220 and now down to 219. I guess the links that were there 6 months ago are dropping off or just no longer counted by technorati. Funny, how after 6-8 months of time priorities change and what seemed important at one point in our lives isn’t a big deal anymore.

One of the things I haven’t been able to figure out is getting back into MyBlogLog. Apparently, they were bought out by Yahoo awhile back and merged the log in processes. I can get into my Yahoo but I can’t get into MyBlogLog. I tried going through the forgot password and user name thing, but have been unsuccessful in recovering them. It goes in a loop and keeps asking me to make a new user name. If you have any ideas on this let me know.

The market did finish lower today but really came back in the last hour. So for the week we were 3 days up and 2 days down.
