I love the weekends. Free to do anything you please. I mostly watched movies this weekend and got some much needed StumbleUpon done. I am happy with all the recent pictures I have Stumbled. If you get a chance, click here and tell me what you think of my picture Stumbles. I try to click on things that inspire me or move me in some way. You will probably notice they are more landscape or weather related pictures. The rain and ocean always seem to invoke positive energy out of me and lifts my spirits. I know that is definitely opposite of what most people feel, but I guess I have always been different. Lucky for me, Mrs. Chessnoid loves the beach and rain weather too.

There were a couple of mma fights this weekend. I knew Tank Abbott was gonna lose, but I was secretly hoping he would get a lucky punch in against Kimbo and knock him out. I think maybe if he was younger and in better shape, he would of had a chance. I think Abbott has lost 9 of his 10 fights. ;( After a certain period of time, these old timers just run out of whatever they once had. You hate to see your old favorites lose, but the odds are against them after they get past their prime. Of course, there are a few exceptions like Randy Couture, but even he has only a couple of good fights left in him. I would love to see Bas Rutten fight again. I think he has a couple more good fights left in him and he is always entertaining. I watch him now on HDNET mma tv show where they talk about the fights every week for about an hour. Here is the show with Gina Carano, Randy and Kim Couture on Bas’ tv show. Carano has had very exciting fights on Showtime Elite XC. Hope to see her fight again soon.

I didn’t get to see the Pavlik vs Taylor fight yet, but am looking forward to watching the repeat on HBO. I am not the type to pay $50 for these PPVs to see it live. I don’t mind knowing the outcome and watching it later. Some people like that live excitement, but I like watching mma and boxing because I simply enjoy it. I would also rather keep the $50 in the bank.

Every so often I will look and see who has visited my site by looking at the little avatars in the MyBlogLog, BlogCatalog, and Romlet widgets below. I like to see new faces but I enjoy seeing my regular visitors stop by. One of the things I like to do when I have time is just go to everyone’s latest blog post and just stumble them. I figure most people who enjoy reading here must share something in common with me that we both appreciate so when I check out their blog it always seems to hold true. I was reading on a new blog from SuperMomof7 of a new meme she picked up. I haven’t done these in awhile but I do enjoy being a part of them. That is why of course I am cutting and pasting here here viral link.

I have read the recent business headlines and expect a slow week in the stock market. I don’t know if there is a lot of positive or negative news coming out, but it seems like the market has it all priced in. At least most of the negative news, since they don’t seem to react like they used to. Seems like Yahoo may have a new suitor or two to make Microsoft up its bid. We will see.
