Google stock closed lower again at $444.60 and dipped as low as $435.78. This is still off its recent high of $747.24. If I purchased Google stock in the last 3 months, I would be very depressed with the intense direction of that investment which is closing to almost 50% in a 3 month time frame. I don’t think it is a coincidence, a Google executive just happens to be leaving to Facebook for another opportunity. Many other executives seem to be getting the boot or leaving before the door hits them on their way out.

The overall stock market was much lower today, but in the last hour it pulled off an amazing comeback again. Even though it closed mix, all the indexes were substantially lower earlier in the trading day.

Today is another exciting Tuesday primary for the Democrats. Let’s see what happens. I like both Clinton and Obama and think both will do well if elected as President. Looks like McCain has it locked up for the Republicans. If he wins the general election, chances are we will slip from a recession and fall into an economic depression.

I made a little move on the Updown site in the choppy market. I was expecting to sell at the end of the day, but then the market rallied and depleted my returns. I should have put limit orders on them to lock in the gains I had made earlier in the day. This is definitely a good way to learn and understand the market forces and my own personal reactions to the market movements.
