Blogburst increased my blog visibility by over 20,000 viewers

Less than a week ago, Shelia from Black Tennis Pro sent me a message through StumbleUpon explaining some of her posts being picked up by Reuters and recommended I give it a try. She writes a high quality tennis site and I visit it on a regular basis. She told me about this new site called BlogBurst and because there are so many different promotions making many claims I didn’t think much of the site initially. Also, because this blog really doesn’t have a focus of topics or special niche, I thought it didn’t really apply to what I wrote. If you are new here, I write pretty much about a variety of topics that interests me. Of course, since Shelia sent me the message and told me it worked for her, I figured I had nothing to lose. I joined on February 28 and a few of my blog posts were actually picked up, but I just found out yesterday through some referral hits from Blogburst. This is the link:

I actually had a few more posts picked up that I wasn’t aware of until I logged into my blogburst account today. I didn’t really know how many hits this Reuters posting received since I don’t own their site (yeah, I wish). On my blogburst account it does show your viewership and other stats. Here is the screencap of my stats for my first week. It kind of reminds me when I had one of my posts get high traffic through StumbleUpon . This is another site I personally love to use and highly recommend.

I can already recommend this new site and very impressed at how fast they were able to make things happen. Thank you Shelia for your recommendation and even thinking about me. You found out by surprise like I did when your article was picked up. I was just thrilled knowing that kind of audience was seeing my work. I didn’t even think about the benefit to my blog, LOL!

Here’s another bit of compliment for you, you were the first person I thought of after I saw my articles get picked up. I figured, as much as I enjoyed your writing, if I got picked up, I KNEW that you would.
