The price of crude keeps going up. Awhile back it crossed over the $100 mark briefly. Then it solidified a base of $100 and marched to the $110 mark.  After awhile that became the new base.  Now it has come close to $120 a few times.  It seems like this will become the new base for the price of crude oil.  We haven’t hit summer yet, but this is definitely affecting gas prices already.    Originally, economists and analysts were predicting $4.oo for a gallon of gas by the summer.  Well, we are arrived early and already there.  Will we really be paying $5.00 at the pump come June or July.  It is hard to believe.

I didn’t follow the Bachelor show this season because of the awful ending last season.  However, I did catch the last show and based on just this one show, my guess is the British Bachelor will choose the actress.  We will find out next Monday.  I did catch a glimpse of the new Bachelorette with DeAnna and I will definitely watch that show.  I really liked her and hope she finds her Prince Charming.

The stock market has been on a tear lately and made significant gains in the last 30 days.  This latest news of Microsoft withdrawing its takeover bid for Yahoo seemed to disturb investors.  Google rallied some more. That union would definitely make them the biggest monopoly or Googlopoly.
