I have to say I am impressed with the HDNET channel in its pursuit of mma shows. They seem to have a ton and lately the action has been great. I was able to watch the DREAM series 1,2 and recently show number 3. All of them are reminiscent of Pride and the production is high quality. Again, much better than the UFC pay per view events. The show was over 5 hours long and they broadcast all 8 fights. The best of the fights were Eddie Alvarez vs Joachim Hansen (youtube fightlink) and Mitsuhiro Ishida vs Caol Uno(youtube fightlink). Both fights did have a lot of blood in them and tons of action. They all seem to have both striking and wrestling in both those fights. If you haven’t caught it, check it out and watch the reruns on HDNET.  Nick Diaz and Jason Mayhem Miller also fought on the fightcard but they really fought no names.   There are 3 more shows left in the series and will be televised in the next 3 months. What makes it good is it is being done in a tournament style, so all the winners eventually fight each other.

HDNET also has this talk show called INSIDE MMA that has Bas Rutten and Kenny Rice talking about everything in the MMA world. There is a new show called Affliction Banned that will be here in July. That is the event with Fedor vs Tim Sylvia. The rest of the fight card looks excellent too with a bunch of action fighters featured.
