I watched the Dancing with the Stars Finale and enjoyed it. I voted for Kristy Yamaguchi. She seemed very good and very humble.

Of course, I caught the Bachelorette featuring Deanna Pappas. It seemed refreshing and fun to watch. She really seems convinced she will find her true love after being burnt by Bachelor Brad last year. We will see.

There were a couple of stand outs in the show. My final 4 picks based on this first show is Richard, the dorky teacher, Jeremy, the Texas attorney, and Sean, the karate guy, and Graham, the basketball player. Of the 4, my long shot favorite is the dorky teacher. I can’t say yet who she will pick. There is a dark horse which is Eric the Greek. I don’t know if there is chemistry between those 2 but they are of the same country origin. I think if the family plays a big role, he would be a shoe in. I think she is looking for more than common origins.

A lot of the bachelors she chose seem to have the same qualities. I kept getting confused with some of them. My wife had to rewind and explain to me I was mixing up the names with the faces. I kept saying the hairdresser guy with the baby. Totally wrong! Then there were some unusual characters in the first round: Spero was like a hyper Clark Kent lookalike,some crazy wolf type guy ripping his shirt off and howling at the moon, and of course your token black guy. I didn’t see the token Asian guy this time. Anyways, I will be watching this season. Looks like they have a cool set up where they get to know her better by having 3 of them living in the same house she lives in.

I know there are only 15 left, but out of those I don’t think she is attracted to the debt manager, the chef, the virgin, and the short Canadian guy with Deanna embroidered briefs, or the snowboard dude. Cheers! Opa!
