I took a trip down memory lane by visiting blogs that are in my special bookmarks that I once read on a daily basis. Funny, how you get to know some people just from reading their blogs. In a sense they become your virtual friends. If you comment on there blog, more than likely you would get a follow up comment in response. It didn’t really matter how big there blogs were compared to yours. Everyone or most everyone seemed cool.
There are a few blogs that no longer exist or simply don’t update anymore. I kind of wonder what has happened to them. I emailed a couple and they said they are just no longer into it anymore. They are still in my blogroll just in case they come back. Also, I have become too lazy to update it.
I am approaching my one year anniversary come next month. It is funny how fast time passes. I have made a few good friends online from around the world. It has been a pleasure getting to know you. As always I appreciate your support by reading and emailing me.
I don’t have the little icons below, but I am thinking about putting them back up. I really do like looking at all the avatars that visit. I put the countries flag counter back on. I have always liked it but at one time it seemed to slow the web page loading for my site. As neat as the wallpaper function is on this template, I might change that up in the near future. My wife showed me a couple of good ones that I liked. Change is good.
I did watch all 3 MMA events already this weekend. I think there was probably a total of 20-25 fights, but only a few stand outs. The best card I enjoyed was the HDNET Dream 4 matches which were held in Japan. It definitely was a big production and was about 4 hours long. This event takes me back to the Pride FC days before UFC bought them out. I have no idea why they spent their money on that organization just to let it fall by the wayside. If you get a chance, definitely watch Dream 4. Almost all the fights ended in the first round. I think the only one that went to decision was Jacare vs Mayhem Miller. It was great. The second card I liked was the Showtime Elite XC matches. They always deliver. KJ easily beat Edwards. It was one of those lucky punches in my opinion. ;) The fight I really enjoyed was Ninja’s match. I forget the name of his opponent right now, but his opponent was yelling F*** you to his face when they were face to face. Ninja just smiled and that aggravated the other guy more. Ninja put a fierce beating on him and didn’t bother to submit him which I think he could have done earlier. Anyways, I love free MMA on TV. Nothing beats it.
