Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas Season Finale
It is now down to 2 bachelors to choose from. I haven’t had a chance to jump in the forums and read the predictions and analysis yet. Just based on the preview clip, I believe it will be Jason who gets the final rose. I did find this ABC News Release that gives an excellent preview to the finale:
DeAnna invites Jesse and Jason to visit her family in Georgia. They are justifiably concerned after watching her heart break over Brad Womack. Her family wants to make sure that whoever she chooses has real feelings for her this time. When Jason arrives, he feels right at home and tells her sister, Chrissy, he is honestly in love with DeAnna and can see himself marrying her. Jason also asks DeAnna’s surprised father for permission to marry her.
Things don’t go as smoothly with Jesse. He is very nervous, and although he seems to have good intentions, he isn’t able to put DeAnna’s family at ease. DeAnna’s father has a heart-to-heart talk with his daughter and he expresses his concerns about both men. Then in a surprising move, DeAnna gathers her entire extended family to meet both men at once. The bachelors, who have no idea they will both be at this gathering, are shocked to see one another. After the men leave, the Bachelorette’s family offer their advice.
With time running out, DeAnna returns to Grand Bahama Island in preparation for her last intimate dates with Jesse and Jason. Then in one of the biggest shocks in series history, DeAnna is confronted by one of the bachelors she rejected, causing her to question all the decisions she has made to this point.
Pushing forward, DeAnna takes Jesse on a seaplane to a deserted island, where they spend a wonderful afternoon exploring the beach. Jesse admits to her that he is head over heels in love and thinks he has found his soul mate, but is terrified that she will break his heart.
A day of scuba diving among the tropical fish and sharks await Jason and DeAnna. That night, Jason surprises her with a special gift and tells her he is in love with her. She is touched by his openness and moved by his emotional declaration of love.
DeAnna spends the last day thinking back through her whole Bachelorette experience. Is one of these men meant to be her husband? Will she find her true love at last? In one of the most exciting season finales ever, DeAnna makes an extraordinary decision that will change her life forever.
I have to admit this has been a good season to watch. The 2 hour format seemed to help you get to know everyone better. I wish ABC had just raw un-edited footage at the ABC website that didn’t make it on TV. That would definitely generate tons of traffic, help build a buzz just like the forums do, and get more people addicted to watching the shows.

So who is the bachelor that came back to shock DeAnna? Is it Graham? It is quite obvious that DeAnna does not love either of the last two men in the finale and has her mind elsewhere. In fact, she might actually still be in love with Brad! How can a woman fall in love with so many men in so short a time. If I were Jason, I would not ever consider such a person to be the mother of my son.
Do you think she ends up with Graham and that the ‘tell all’ show behavior was a cover up?! That would be FUNNY! But it would probably tic people off too much. I like her and Jason together. She keeps saying that she has never been with someon like Jesse before. What she means is… someone (she’s not physically attracted to) like Jesse… lol Nice guy. But I can’t get past the big crooked nose. We do know one thing… She likes BIG noses!
I hope she picks Jesse, he doesn’t have any baggage to deal with like an ex!!! And most know that having step children is not always that easy!!! jason should get back with Ty’s mother if it’s possible. And DeAnna should not pick Jason. DeAnna is way way high maintance for Jason anyways, Jason needs to shave!

Well, I hope the spoiler sites are true! I rather have her pick Jesse than Jason! Jason needs to just focus on his son. Not, on his love life. He should wait until Ty is 18. Than refocus on his own selfish life. Ty has already been through too much trauma with the breakup of his family. Besides neither Jesse or Jason is going to last with DeAnna! Sorry!
Spoiler sites stating she chooses Jesse – the reasons just don’t add up. I’m very skeptical about those sources. The previews of the Final Rose Ceremony just don’t lie (unless some serious editing has been done to bend the truth). I’m still leaning towards Jason as the last man standing.
She chooses Jesse, which does not surprise me. I wish her the best because i know jason can find someone better. I think he will find someone he loves, and it is jeremy that comes back, which again is no surprise, that man just doesnt take no for an answer!! If i was older i would so go for jason, he wont have any trouble getting dates!!
I think Deanna is selfish and self-centered. How could she have let Jason get down on one knee. He put so much out there. I don’t have much respect for her even though I don’t know her. She is brutally honest which I don’t think is necessary.
COME ON! Jason is over 21. If anybody is selfish, what about Jason, he left his son for his lovelife. He should wait until Ty is 18. Way to go Jesse!
I think Deanna is like Brad. She repeatedly stated that she did not want to do the same thing Brad did to her, but the sad thing is she did. She strung Jason along the very same way. She knew all along who she would give the final rose. She should have listened to her family. I feel sorry for the poor girl!!
I am glad she chose Jessie so that Jason can go on and find someone that truly deserves him. He was just such a sweetie. He won’t be single for long now!
