Wimbledon historic finals awesome

Posted on Jul 6, 2008 by CHESSNOID in Sports | 0 Comments

Today I watched the number 1 and 2 men’s single players play. They both deserved to win in my eyes. Nadal was up 2 set, then there was a rain delay. When they came back, Federer came back from behind to win the next 2 sets where both played amazing tiebreakers. Unfortunately, NBC only alotted 5 hours of gameplay and with a second rain delay, I was shorted the complete final set.

I went to the Wimbledon website and got the final scores.

Rafael Nadal won 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (7-5 tie breaker), 6-7 (10-8 tie breaker), 9-7.

What I did get to watch was awesome. I wound up rooting for both guys. It was exciting to watch them both playing high level quality tennis.
