Peter Schiff video on housing bust

Posted on Jul 30, 2008 by CHESSNOID in Economy, Politics, Recession, housing market | 0 Comments

I found this youtube video about Peter Schiff basically telling mortgage brokers that the bubble was about to burst and they were all going to be unemployed soon. I thought his timing is amazing considering this video is from November 2006. He talks about the dot.com bubble and what led to it and during this video he touches on what caused this housing bubble before it actually burst. Listening to him, he definitely knows his economics. Housing prices are still dropping right now and if his predictions comes true about housing dropping up to 50, 60, 70 and 80% from their highs, look out.

This video is a bit dry because of the subject matter. Unless you appreciate business or economics, you might start snoozing. This reminds me of my college days of professors teaching economic theories. The second video is more interesting since it is in TV reporting format.

I checked out some other more recent videos and this one below stands out as a great one to watch. This is after the bubble burst and from April 3, 2008 (at least that is what the scrolling bar says underneath). I agree with a lot of the things he points out and his analysis. I wonder why I haven’t seen this guy before today?

I like the part where he says Ben Bernanke is lying.
