There was actually an mma event on Showtime called ShoXC – Hamman vs. Suganuma II. I didn’t recognize any of the fighters on the card and I didn’t see the first Hamman vs Suganuma fight, but this card was extremely entertaining. I looked at the fight card at Sherdog and it has 10 fights listed but I think they only showed 5 of them. All of them were very good.

The fight of the night for me was Ray Lizama vs Keith Berry where the underdog on short notice defeated the up and coming knock out artist. There was also a bloody and messy fight Cyrille Diabate vs Jaime Fletcher. Personally, I thought they should have stopped that fight much earlier. The female mma match Rosi Sexton vs Debi Purcell was quite good and ended in a split decision. As far as the main event Jared Hamman vs Poai Suganuma, that was a surprise ending.  This is where one punch made a difference.

I recommend watching this event if you can see the rerun or watch it online somewhere. Definitely worth a look.
