Stock market bottom?

Looking at today’s finals number, you wouldn’t be able to tell how extremely volatile the stock market was.  The DOW was down almost 700 points and dipped below 8,000 in the first 15 minutes, then rallied back to the starting line and erased all of its loss. It was zig zagging in 100 point increments.  The Dow high for today 8,901and the low was 7,882 which is a range of almost 1,100 points. In the end or last hour of the day, the Dow had wind up closing just down 128.  The NASDAQ finished above the line. Unfortunately, the S&P 500 closed under the 900 mark.

8,451.19 -128.00 (-1.49%)
1,649.51 +4.39 (0.27%)
899.22 -10.70 (-1.18%)

I believe next Friday is options expiration so it could be another volatile week again. I really do think were due for a big rally and break the 8 day losing streak. Although it will probably be just a sucker’s rally.
