I watched the entire 90 minute debate between Obama and McCain. I’ll be upfront with you, I don’t like either one of them so I can probably be more objective than most people. I am convinced neither one of them are qualified to fix the economy. Listen to their ideas and all they really say are sound bites. I even watched the analysis after. I really don’t like politics because they involve watching politicians. LOL.
Who did better? Overall McCain did better. He was more personable and related to the audience better. I think this was not one of Obama’s better performance. Usually in a debate, the person who is always defending is losing the debate. I was surprised at how animated McCain was and how much he had memorized to say all that stuff he said. The problem with Obama in these debates is when he speaks, he doesn’t relate to the viewer because he rolls into rhetoric. I listened to the question and kept that in mind when each candidate answered. Truth be told, Obama still lacks substance. Truth be told, McCain is old and many people hold that against him. Even though McCain did better in this debate, it probably won’t matter because it is too late. We have had two 700 point drops in the stock market the last 4 days.
Sure, the Democrats love Obama and thought he won. Yes, the Republicans love McCain and thought he won. In the end, I think the economy will be the deciding factor for most voters. They see a Republican White House and think lets get them out. They forget we have a Democrat House and Senate and they deserve as much blame for the current failed economy. A prime example is the FRAUD BAILOUT BILL most of them voted for and passed.
