Good news on Halloween. The stock market closed up and finally broke the pattern of only being up 1 day at a time.  On the last day of the month. we had some follow through and the indexes all closed up for the 2nd day in a row.

Not a real accomplishment but taken in the context in the month of October, that is a feat. November starts our Turkey month of gratitude. We should all say grace and be thankful for our families, our health, and our homes. As far as stock market wealth loss, it really could have been worse. Just be happy that whatever investments you had didn’t fall to 0. We had a lot of those this month. Just look at the banks that are closing and big companies laying off.

The holiday season is not expected to be a good one. The good thing about that is the stores will have amazing sales and you will be able to find spaces in the parking lot instead of circling around for half an hour for a spot to open up. Black Friday may be an everyday event at the stores until New Years.
