On my last MMA post, I didn’t realize there was another UFC this month. That means there are two UFC PPVs in one month. Usually, they air one free but I guess they don’t want to give any away this month. In UFC 92, they gave away 1/3 of their tickets away for free. MMA Junkie:
However, of the 14,166 attendees, a total 4,465 – nearly a third of the overall crowd – were issued complimentary tickets, according to an email today sent to MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) by Nevada State Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer.
Only 9,701 were paid attendees.
The UFC 93 card is:
Main Card Bouts:
-Rich Franklin (#9 Light Heavyweight in the World)* vs. Dan Henderson (#7 Middleweight in the World)* in a light heavyweight bout
-Mauricio “Shogun” Rua vs. Mark Coleman
-Denis Kang vs. Alan Belcher
-Rousimar Palhares vs. Jeremy Horn
-Marcus Davis vs. Chris Lytle
Preliminary Bouts:
-Martin Kampmann vs. Alexandre Barros
-Ivan Serati vs. Thomasz Drwal
-Tom Egan vs. John Hathaway
-Nate Mohr vs. Denis Siver
-Eric Schafer vs. Antonio Mendes
I should stop making predictions because I seem to get it wrong most of the times. I think my last correct prediction was Lesnar beating Couture. In the last UFC event, I thought Silva, Nogeira, and Griffin were going to win. Wrong, wrong, and wrong.
My predictions for this UFC event to win are: Franklin, Coleman, and Kang. I will probably be wrong on all of them again, but I will still enjoy watching the fights.
