Tent Cities in America-signs of a Depression

Recently, I watched Lisa Ling on the Oprah show covering the tent cities popping up all over America. We have always had a homeless problem even during our booming years, but now that the economy is busted, we are seeing the number of homeless growing.

I have been blogging about the severe recession for the past year. I live in California where unemployment is at about 10%, our foreclosure rates is one of the highest in the nation, and our state can’t balance the budget because we spend more than we take in now. Even with this knowledge, watching the show made me realize we have surpassed the severe recession state and have truly begun the Bush-Obama Depression which I suspect will be worse than the Great Depression.
