Bachelor Jason and Melissa emails

Posted on Mar 3, 2009 by CHESSNOID in Bachelor, Bachelorette, Entertainment, FORT, Jason Mesnick, Melissa | 9 Comments

I searched the FORT, Reality Steve, and other little sites to see what the leaked emails said between the most loved Bachelor Jason Mesnick and his former fiance Melissa Rycroft.  I found nothing.  I told my wife I searched for it and had no luck.  She found it  leaked at the Access Hollywood OMG site.

I know most everyone would agree Jason is a jerk because of how he dumped Melissa on national TV.  When I watched him and Molly in the ATRC 1, I could tell he was lying about not having contact with Molly. He denied it on TV when Melissa confronted him, and the host, Chris, kept repeating and emphasizing the same thing.  Seems like everyone was lying.  The email confirms for me that  Melissa knew about Jason and Molly talking to each other and calls him on his lie.  Assuming Melissa is right, then that would mean ABC including Chris, knew. This also confirms Reality Steve’s information.

Here is the pdf  link and part of the transcript below in case it disappears on that site:

LOS ANGELES, Calif. — As the fallout from ABC’s surprising “Bachelor” finale continues, Access Hollywood has uncovered personal e-mails between Jason Mesnick and Melissa Rycroft, Mesnick’s reality show fiancee who he dumped on national TV.

In the first of several e-mails uncovered by Access, Melissa expressed her frustration to Jason following the taping of the “After the Rose” special (taped in mid January), which saw Jason break off his engagement with Melissa and opt for a second chance at love with the previously dumped Molly Malaney.

And while Jason’s change of heart might have been a shock to viewers, it appears Melissa may have seen it coming.

“Last night didn’t go NEAR how I thought… I still can’t believe how you can’t give reasons other than ‘It changed.’… You know as well as I do that you didn’t give 100% to me or the relationship. And I don’t understand how you can walk away form something without giving it your all,” she wrote in the e-mail dated January 19, 2009. “But I am walking away knowing I did.”

In her initial e-mail after the taping, it seems Melissa already also had a good idea about Jason’s feelings for Molly prior to Jason’s TV confession.

“And getting confirmation about Molly in front of people like that was a complete classless move if you ask me – how could you do that to me after I repeatedly asked you about it? I’m not stupid, I knew about Molly… and you lied to me about it,” she wrote. “I can’t even tell you how much respect I lost for you… but it makes this whole process from here on out much easier for me.”

In an interview with People following Monday’s finale, Jason insisted he had no choice in how the situation played out, claiming it was “part of the deal” in his contract – a sentiment echoed in his reply e-mail to Melissa.

“The producers had a lot to do with it. I am so sorry. This is so horrible,” Jason wrote.

Yet, Melissa didn’t seem to be buying her former fiance’s reasoning.

“You are a grown man and perfectly capable of making your own decisions,” she replied in a subsequent e-mail. “Own your actions and stop blaming this process.”

In a later e-mail, dated January 21, 2009, Jason answered Melissa’s note, even going as far as to say he had suffered karmic retribution for calling off the engagement.

“You don’t deserve any of it at all. I wish there were more that I could say. I want to take all of your pain away and put it on me,” he replied. “If you are talking about Karma, I slipped and fell and had a huge gash in my leg 3 inches wide and to the bone. I deserve so much worse for what I am doing to you.”

And in the final e-mail uncovered by Access between the two, also dated January 21, Melissa harkened back to Jason being dumped by “Bachelorette” DeAnna Pappas prior to his run as the “Bachelor.”

“I do think it’s a little ironic that you kept telling me, ‘Morally, how could I ever get back with DeAnna after what she did to me?’ And I agree… just seems like a very similar situation with your new lady… Just a little irony I guess,” Melissa wrote. “Seeing the person that you became, you are right: a relationship between you and I would never work out… I’m not mad… I’m not hurt – seeing how things were handled helped me get over things quickly.

“I do wish you both the best though. Take care,” Melissa wrote.

Jason is a stupid asshole. Molly is an idiot.

They won’t last. We’ll all hear about their break up in the tabloids soon.

  2. Jonathea, March 5, 2009:

Jason is a insecure DUMB ASS HOLE. I think his full of shit and anything that comes out of his mouth is a load of PIG SHIT. I love milissa. This was a selfish act.

ok…lets all be real…we have all at one time or another had to dig deep in our heart to make sure we were where we wanted to be in a relationship…Jason is a real person with real feelings and feelings change..thats life!!! I admire Jason for following his heart and ending things with Mellisa sooner rather that later. Maybe it wasnt the classiest way to end things but im sure that Mellisa wasnt in the dark when she walked on the set that night..im sure she made out(it was probably in both of their contracts that this is how it would be played out). Your a wonderful man Jason..any idiot can see that you are very heart-filled in all that you do!!! Good Luck with Molly…i wish you the best!!!

  4. Gabby, March 5, 2009:

Jason is such a liar, and you can clearly see that from these emails. Melissa knew he had been in contact with Molly, and obviously Jason wanted to deny it until he could admit it in front of the cameras. Poor Molly, hasn’t she heard once a cheater always a cheater. Cheating doesnt mean just physical, if Jason was talking to her throughout his engagement he was at least emotionally cheating on Melissa. It must be hard to sleep at night knowing you were your boyfriends 2nd pick, when things didnt work out with his fiancee! Too bad for Molly she will always be #2

  5. Pam, March 9, 2009:

WOW,Jason really seemed like a wonderful guy in the beginning.I never thought he would be dumb enough to do something like this,After he’s been through the same crap? Really?..well Melissa won’t have a hard time finding a new guy, shes a wonderful person,She deserves someone as amazing as her.

    As for the other two,yeah
    they won’t last long,I agree.

But then again,I feel like this was all set up?? ???

    Who knows.

    =]

    Bye!

  6. Susie, March 11, 2009:

I will never watch another Bachelor or Bachelorette show do to how they put Melissa out there and with the cameras rolling got treated that way. This is how you show how a man is suppose to act towards a woman or women for that matter. I wish both girls would have dumped him and made him think about his actions for a year by himself and maybe the idiot would have figured it out that’s not how you treat people, family or friends and showing your son that is horrible. Shame on you. I will NEVER watch this show ever again.

  7. Pablo Gregory, March 15, 2009:

if jason does this to melissa then he is no better then any of them. I thought this show was to meet someone not to be a player

  8. Benjamin Walker, March 15, 2009:

That is an example of how dull the Bachelor 13 season has really been…an add for a club, lol.

  9. Kylie Hollister, July 16, 2009:
