Just like the Kentucky Derby, the underdog Shawn Johnson on Dancing with the Stars  came from behind to win the whole thing.  I really thought Gilles would win and possibly Melissa because of all the Bachelor fallout stuff, before Shawn.  They all did well through out the season, but I think the best choreographed dance in the free style was the Mark Ballas dance.

I am happy for all 3 couples just for making it to the top 3. I wonder if my votes made a difference.

Gymnast Shawn Johnson, who brought home gold and silver from the 2008 Summer Olympics, now has another gleaming prize to place beside her medals: the mirrored disco-ball trophy from Dancing With the Stars.

She and pro partner Mark Ballas defeated celebrity second-placer Gilles Marini (with partner Cheryl Burke) and third-place Melissa Rycroft (with Tony Dovolani) in the Season 8 finale Tuesday. Johnson is the third Olympian, after skaters Kristi Yamaguchi and Apolo Anton Ohno, to win.
