I watched the first Bachelorette show last night with Jillian Harris and enjoyed it.   For some reason I wasn’t as excited as previous seasons, but I think this one will be better than I expect.  The show promises to be very entertaining again this season.

They had some interesting characters on the show like a country singer, a pilot, and a foot fetish guy.  There was a break dance between 2 guys battling for Jillian.  I think only one of those guys actually received a rose in the end.  Probably the funniest moment in the show that had my wife and me laughing out loud was when the trucker introduced himself and he just drew a complete blank. :lol:   Ironically, he won the first impression rose after a second chat with the bachelorette Jillian.

The twist on the first show is they added 5 more bachelors at the midpoint.  It did make a difference and those 5 extra guys made the room much smaller.  I know it was an extra 5 roses at the end too, but that ceremony seemed very long.  At the end of the show, they did show a preview of the rest of the season.  It sounded as if one of the guys still have a girlfriend and another is there just to promote his career.  So what’s new right. There may even be some type of fight that breaks out in a future episode. If not that, then at least another break dance battle.

I haven’t visited the FORT or Reality Steve yet.  The FORT I am sure already have narrowed it down to the final 3 based on screencaps.  They were right last season.  And RS usually has good play by play narrations of the entire show which make the his posts seem longer than the actual show.  He was correct about the whole season surprise ending with Bachelor Jason, Melissa, and Molly and ABC ’s manipulated and orchestrated ending to get the highest ratings possible.

From just the first show, I think the frontrunner is the country singer and the airline pilot.  The creepy guy in the show is not the foot fetish guy but Juan who got the last rose.  He looks like he has an anger or jealosy issue or possibly both.  He managed to get the last rose given out.
