I watched this yesterday and was really surprised at the results of some of the fights.  There were some good fights on this event.

Here are the main event fights:

STRIKEFORCE MAIN CARD (on Showtime)
-Robbie Lawler (182.75) vs. Jake Shields (181.75)
-Nick Diaz (179) vs. Scott Smith (179.5)
-Andrei Arlovski (244) vs. Brett Rogers (262)
-Kevin Randleman (204) vs. Mike Whitehead (206)
-Phil Baroni (168.75) vs. Joe Riggs (170)

Some of these fights, you would have thought would have ended a certain way. With the exception of Nick Diaz, all the fights were upsets.  I have always liked Diaz as a fighter.  He seems to be getting better every fight.  It was sad to see him dominate an old Frank Shamrock the way he did, but at the same time his win over Smith shows he is becoming a very consistent fighter.  I think if he was given the opportunity to avenge all the fights he has lost by decision in the past, there would be a good chance that he would win them all at the level he is fighting.

I think Nick Diaz vs Cung Le or Jake Shields would make for an entertaining fight.

As for the other fights on the card, they were all stunners. It may even be time for Andrei Arlovski to think about retirement and that Freddie Roach is overrated.  I think this fight confirms Arlovski’s questionable chin is made of glass.  I doubt he will be a very good boxer.  He seems to have problems against taller fighters.   This fight card was great so check them out when you get a chance.
