OK, I am a pc guy and my last 10 computers have all been on windows based operating systems and one linux os called ubuntu for my netbook.  So I have made my first personal Apple product purchase which is the the Apple Ipod Touch 2nd generation 8mb.  I will get it in a day or two, but am anxious to get my hands on it.  I have checked them out in the Apple stores before about 2 years ago.

Correction, that was the Apple Iphone, but this ipod touch looks identical in form.  I have seen the commercials and think it will be fun to take along with me when I am out traveling to check emails.  I have a netbook but that is still a bit bulky to carry around but the screen is a good size at 7 inches.

I am hoping my experience with this is good and the fun factor and convenience is what I am expecting.  I already know the ipod mp3 players are good because my wife has one and is extremely happy with it.  She has had hers for a few years.

One last note on Apple, I owned the stock from 2000 to 2007 before I sold it.  I bought it every month on a dollar cost averaging method and made over 10 times what I invested.  I always wanted to buy a mac computer but they were always too costly for my budget.  I knew they put out great products and the first computer I learned on was an Apple 2c in high school.  I know that is dating myself.  Anyways, check out the stock charts.  I bought the stock after the tech bubble burst and the Nasdaq crashed.
