Thank goodness for technology and public funded television.  I watched this video from PBS Frontline to get a better understanding of what is going on.  Many people talk and think that our soldiers are fighting to protect our freedom, but when you see this video you will understand the government has a different mission for them.

This video is raw so their is graphic violence. We never see this on mainstream TV so most people don’t understand what is really going on. We are spending billions of dollars to service this war and watching this will allow you to see how those funds are being used. The Obama administration is trying to make a determination of sending another 40,000 troops there. What is the real purpose of this war?

Take the time to watch this video and get a better sense of why we are there. After seeing the video, I think you will agree with me it is way past time we leave. The resources we are funneling to this country can be better utilized in America and there is no valid reason to keep losing our troops there like we did in Vietnam.
