Laptops, netbooks, and smartphones keep on getting cheaper and it’s not even Christmas yet

I am really amazed at how technology keeps getting better and cheaper. You have laptops, netbooks, and smartphones all dropping in prices because technology just gets more advanced everyday. That is a big benefit to all of us.

You can purchase a HP 17 inch laptop with a built in webcam and hdmi ports at bestbuy for under $600 and it isn’t even on sale. Most netbooks are all under $300 easy and some on sale below $200. The ironic thing is as these products get cheaper, that means all my electronics lose value too.  I am planning to get a new laptop next year after windows 7 becomes preinstalled.

That part I don’t like is trying to get rid of the all computers.  I don’t really like the hassle of selling them, but I saw an article with a few places that buy them and recycle them.  I think I will give it a try when I am ready to get rid of my stuff.

My Gateway 17 inch laptop has been very good to me.  The netbook I bought a year and a half ago is still good but slower than what I would like. The apple Ipod Touch has slowly been taking over as my surfing computer.  I check my email, surf the net, make skype phone calls, and listen to music on this portable gadget.  There is only 1 thing I can’t do on this small gadget which is play flash games. Actually 2 things.  I can’t attach USB devices like portable drives which would make the gadget so much better.
