Rising anti-war sentiment against the 8 year war in Afghanistan

It’s no secret that under the current stress or our Great Recession, most Americans no longer have any patience on wasting our resources overseas when we can’t even help our own citizens get a job or keep their house. Most Americans recognize that this war started by President Bush needs to be ended by President Obama.

The majority of Americans do not believe in this war and it is starting to look like another Vietnam as it gets ready to enter its 9th year. That’s right, the 9th year! Most of my friends didn’t even have kids back when this started.

The other war we are in against Iraq is just a year younger getting ready to enter its 8th year. That is a long time for America to be in 2 simultaneous wars.
