Cop assaults 15-year-old special needs student

In every profession there are always good people and bad people. In some professions we hold the people in them to a higher standard like law enforcement. The good thing is we have cameras that capture any abuses that normally would go uncontested.

Here is another video capturing a police officer assaulting a 15 year old special needs student. I don’t think you would of believed it unless you saw it. Apparently, this particular officer has a violent history but was allowed to continue his career in law enforcement.

It appears as if the officer greatly over reacted and probably should not be working in a school environment with youth. The school will be lucky if they are not going to be sued and pay a lot of money. It appears as if the adults are more concerned with assisting one another rather than deescalating the situation. This kind of behavior may provoke youth to despise and actually hate law enforcement officers. We don’t know if there was a verbal exchange yet I think it is best for officers to first try to handle situations like this verbally.
