Watching the show tonight it wasn’t surprise that the week 4 dancer let go was Chuck Liddell the mma fighter.  He was always just too stiff and really didn’t look like he enjoyed it at all.  He does seem to be a nice guy.  Unfortunately, his fan base wasn’t as big as the other contestants.

When the show began, they gave a recap of all the dances and the judges scores.  I think they are scoring weird this season.  Some of the so so dances in my opinion were scored much higher.  I didn’t think Melissa Joan Hart’s Charleston dance was worth being tied with the top score.  I also think Mark from Iron Chef is becoming a weaker performer as the show progresses.  I think the 2 contestants that will make it to the top 4 will be Joanna Krupa the model and Mya the singer.  In my opinion, they give very good performances compared to the other dancers.

During the fist half hour of the show they did announce the next Bachelor in January 2010 will be pilot Jake Pavelka.    He was the one that came back during Bachelorette Jillian’s season to out Wes the cowboy country singer.  He seemed like a nice guy during the show but when he came back to warn Jillian he seemed like a hired actor who needed more lessons.  Again that is just the way it appeared to me.

I thought he was a good match for Jillian.  I think one thing that comes across above his nice guy personality is that he seems to be boring.  Maybe he will be different being the actual bachelor handing out the roses.
