I signed up for Google Voice and am very impressed with its features.

I have heard a little buzz about this new free service Google has begun to offer.  I just received my invite and set up my account.  It is very cool.  I set up a brand new phone number with new voicemail.  I will have to read some more to gain full knowledge of all its functions.

The only thing I have experimented with so far is the voicemail and launching calls from my computer.  I called and left a lengthy message because it has a voice recognition software that transcribes the message into an email.  How amazing!  It was about 99% accurate with the words.  I was quite impressed.  The quality of the call was very good too.

Here is a google video of some of the cool stuff you can do with it.
