Black Friday is no longer the day after Thanksgiving

Posted on Oct 30, 2009 by CHESSNOID in Computers, gadgets, internet | 0 Comments

The day after Thanksgiving is usually the biggest retailer day with crazy bargains that are available only for a few hours at a ridiculous prices.  Some retailers announced they will start earlier than usual because the economy is so bad.  They are going to try to snag the limited dollars to be spent by consumers this year amid the unemployment numbers we are experiencing.

I subscribe to the BF site and they have the Sears ad online for viewing or download. I am looking at it right now to see what deals are to be had. They have a few more scans including the Toys R Us ad but for some reason I am getting an error message on it.  My favorite ads are Best Buy, Circuit City, and CompUSA.  Unfortunately 2 of those companies are not the way I remembered them and don’t have brick and mortar locations.

OK, I just finished reading my email.  Apparently Office Max and Toys R Us send a cease and desist letter so the site took those ads down.

Anywyas, this holiday season is sure to have excellent deals everywhere.  I wonder if they will have $100 laptops or netbooks since those normally go for only $200-$300 retail price. Maybe there won’t even be lines outside these stores before they open to get these great deals.
