It’s funny that about this time of the year, I start getting that feeling of buying new gadgets.  Of course, I will hold myself back until next year.  The reason that will be easy is because all the gadgets just keep getting better and more importantly cheaper.

I still like my Apple Ipod Touch 2G very much.  It really is a true all in one gadget.  There are only a couple of things missing that would make it better for me.  I wish it had a USB connection and that adobe flash applications worked in the safari browser.  They probably won’t do the USB thing in the future because that would remove the need for getting 32 or 64 GB when you could easily just attach a 500 GB USB storage device.  As far as the adobe flash thing, eventually it will be added in the near future.

Other than the lower price of the newer version for a higher capacity,  I think my Apple Ipod Touch 2g is still great and on par with the 3G version.  Here is a CNET video review for the 3G version.
