As for our economy, I have to admit that it appears to be on the way up, with us ranking second behind England. With the recent drop in unemployment, now just under 6%, interest rates were predicted to rise as a result, which they did. A quote from our ABC News, "The Australian dollar climbed to a high of 90.9 US cents early this morning, and the likelihood of more interest rate hikes makes eventual parity with the greenback a real possibility."
