Ron Paul: Bernanke is World’s Greatest Counterfeiter 12.16.2009

It’s funny to me that people still believe that Bernanke has done a good job. The media makes it sound like he saved the world, when he actually contributed to the global recession. He was nominated by our former President who has also failed. Yet, many ignorant people think Bush has also done a good job.

This has nothing to do with politics either because President Obama has also done a poor job to date. He has failed just as bad as President Bush. President Obama also thinks Bernanke has done a great job and renominated him. It’s like watching dumb and dumber.

In this recent Ron Paul video on Fox TV (you see the same ignorance displayed by its financial correspondents who think Bernanke did a great job. I think these people are not only ignorant but in denial of the truth. They think things are getting better. They are actually starting to believe in their false spins about the economy being in a recovery. Unemployment is close to 30 million people and foreclosures are close to 10 million homes.

I like the fact about Ron Paul laughing at how stupid these people are and the weak arguments they try to make.  I think the people who agree with these Fox correspondents all voted for Bush both terms and think he did a terrific job.

I am never impressed very much with individuals who call others names and try to pass themselves off as individuals who know so much more than others. I personally believe we would be in a very deep depression by now if the government hadn’t spent trillions to give more liquidity to the economy. I think the problem is the same as what happened in the Great Depression and that is that the government didn’t spend near enough. First the government had better explain why the government going in debt is very different from a state or even an individual spending beyond their means. Remember it is very easy to criticize others and all people make mistakes and especially in very complex situations. To figure some of it out I have found following the money a good way to understand why some people do what they do. Someone said, “Power corrupts and complete power corrupts completely”. People had best realize just how powerful money is. I think it is a sad day when more than 50% of the people want our medical care to remain as it is.

    Hi Dennis,

I am surprised you come to my blog as often as you do. Quite honestly, I think you are in denial of the truth. It you really think Bernanke has done a good job, that in itself says you are misinformed.

As far as being in a depression, if the government didn’t intervene is the same weak reasoning that Bush used to go to war in Iraq (doing something isn’t always better than doing nothing, sometimes if makes the problem worse). It is all speculation with no facts to support your theory. You just believe the hype the government puts out. Bernanke did a piss poor job. HE DIDN”T EVEN KNOW WE WERE IN A RECESSION.

    Thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
