Happy New Years!

2009 was a fast year for me.  It seems like the older I get the faster time goes.  I am sure you know what I mean.  There were many things that happened.  Both a friend and a coworker passed away.  The music legend I grew up listening to Michael Jackson also passed away.  These type of events always make me think about my past memories.  It also reminds me to be grateful for my life and blessings and not to take them for granted.  May they all rest in peace.

I don’t usually stay up till midnight, but last night I took a nap and then got back up.  Wow, the fireworks were extra loud this year.  I took a video that I will try to post here if it isn’t too big.  Ok, I just tried it and the file is too big.  Here is the link to it on my blogger site: fireworks movie.

There was a great video I got to watch called Bigger, Stronger, Faster which is timely because one of the big boxing events Pacquiao vs Mayweather calls into question the use of steroids are enhancement drugs.  My perception is definitely different than before after watching that documentary.  It is available on netflix on demand so you don’t have to even put it in your queue. As far as the boxing match, I believe most professional athletes use it including Pacquiao and Mayweather.  After watching the video, I don’t think it is cheating anymore.  I think they all do it and you can easily see it in their physiques.  This is just my opinion so don’t hate on me.

I hope for all of you who do make New Year Resolutions you are successful in achieving your goals.  Just remember, even if you fall off the wagon (whether you dieting or working out) you can start right back up the next day.  You don’t need to wait until the following new year to start.
