With all this crazy rain pouring down like cats and dogs, the best thing to do is just stay home and avoid the traffic. By the way, I love this weather and wished it rained everyday.
I currently have only basic cable right now. All the shows I usually watch Dexter, Californication, Curb your Enthusiasm, and Top Chef are off the air. I will probably order those premium channels as soon as they are back on. Anyways, I wanted to watch the Australian Open because I am a tennis fan. Luckily I was able to find a live stream straight from an Australia TV network.
The match I was able to watch was James Blake vs Juan Martín del Potro (the United States Open champion) which went an amazing 5 sets. I really thought Blake was going to win it and get an upset, but del Potro came back. The score was 6-4, 6-7 (3), 5-7, 6-3, 10-8. The last set was very exciting to watch.
Watching the Australian version of the match was so much better than watching it on the US TV version. They didn’t have the annoying commentators. It was really weird not to hear them, but so much better. You really hear the fans get into it and you don’t have colored commentary. Just the chair calling out the scores. Again, so much better than the American version.
